A Little Help for the Lovely Miss E
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

I'm writing this after a delay. And it is a delay caused by the worst of all combinations - tardiness and forgetfulness. I do try to be better, but I usually forget.
Anyway, the delay means I'm writing this on an evening when the weather is fairly warm. On my early evening jaunt today, I genuinely thought that 6 layers may have been overkill. But that's because I'm still expecting the weather to be like last week. Cold, bloomin' darned cold.
Which it was when I visited the lovely Miss E last week. I first popped on down on the Thursday evening, but after a very lovely chat, we decided that Friday would be better for Miss E's food supplies. And it was for me too, because that way I got to have a little socially-distanced natter with Miss E two evenings running.
The task as easy as pie - a Co-op around the corner and a simple list of essentials - 10 minutes was more than it took.
At any time, but especially when it's cold and dark outside, a little chatter and laughter with someone warm and interesting like Miss E makes all the difference.
Nice one.
