A lick of paint and many more licks of ice creams
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Sylvania Community Stores and Cafe in Exeter.
- Wednesday, 21st of July 2021
- Led by Pete Hodges
Six GoodGymers climbed 'Mount Pennsylvania' on Wednesday to help get the new Sylvania Stores ready to open. We think this is a great project: it's a co operative initiative by local residents and will include a shop, cafe and lots of activities.
With paintbrushes in hand we spruced up tired walls and doors to get them looking good for the grand opening this weekend.
Founder and general legend Pete Stevenson provided us with biscuits, fruit, water (it was baking!) and even ice cream. Thank you for going above and beyond for your local community!
