A good thyme weeding
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Friday, 12th of July 2019
After arriving and waiting at the back entrance (d'oh!), I eventually found Rebecca and we were shown to the garden that needed to be weeded. We grabbed tools and then Ms M and her daughter talked us through which bushes and plants they wanted to keep, and which could get the chop. This involved being told there was thyme in the garden but, alas, we couldn't find anything and think the weeds and snails got to it before we did.
After digging, forking, sweeping, piling and not-so-successful-treading-on-snail-avoiding, we left Ms M with a much clearer garden ready for her to enjoy in the sun.
