A date with destiny?
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Westminster.
- Saturday, 25th of August 2018
It was the mission that turned out to be so much more...
The day before carnival, two Westminster runners headed for Notting Hill to see Mrs J. Following an unseasonably warm British summer, the garden had got a bit out of control. Shears and secateurs in hand we set to work cutting everything back and raking the leaves.
Once we'd finished up, Mrs J invited us in for tea and we chatted about some of the things she gets up to in the week. Mrs J has a busy social life with lots of friends who visit regularly. She even decided that one of her visitors would be the perfect match for Anil. A phone number exchanged, Anil's now just waiting for that blind date.
