A chop well done
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Saturday, 6th of July 2019
On a sunny Saturday, I joined Monica and Hanna in going to Mr H's to tackle his back garden which he's been struggling to keep on top of.
With just shy of two hours to play with, we quickly familiarised ourselves with Mr H's kit and got cracking. Given the shear (sorry not sorry) depth and amount to do, we had a good think about what we could manage and how we'd go about it. We agreed that we'd work our way back as far as Mr H's shed, giving him more manageable space closer to his back door, and giving us time to focus on doing one bit.

Encountered some crawlies, and enjoyed Hanna practising the easy to learn but hard to master Strimmer Two Step
We chopped, strimmed and yanked, and had a bit of a battle figuring out Mr H's new lawn mower, but eventually got this part of the garden looking a lot flatter, a lot safer, and a lot more manageable. Once we were done, we caught up with Mr H who seemed happy with what we had done, and scampered off to our various other plans (many of which may have involved the sun).
