4 pints and a package of crisps!

6 GoodGymers smashed a training session and got lots of extra steps in whilst litter picking in Cowick Barton Playing Fields. What an amazing night of getting fit by doing good!
After thunder storms and torrential rain all afternoon the evening turned out unexpectedly lovely with blue sky and sunshine. It could not be a better night for our team of GoodGymers to get together for some running and a good deed!
We started the night with running some laps in Cowick Barton park, including some speed work, some balancing exercises, core workout and of course some SALLY SQUATS! Thank you Pete for introducing the new jumping version!
All warm and buzzing we collected our litter pickers and set off for our litter pick.
We filled 5 bin liners in 45 minutes. Great work team!
We had some great finds this evening.... As well as the usual plastic wrappers and bottles we found a tooth brush, part of a door mat, and our litter-picking queen, Lucy R, found some coins (she kindly donated these to a charity) and a marble!
So good to see you all, run and do good together! Nothing beats that feeling!
