1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Thursday, 6th of August 2020
Mr. C is going into hospital to be operated on on Monday, so is shielding right now. I dropped his Boots prescription off on the doormat and he thanked me warmly from a safe distance up on the first floor balcony as I was leaving.
Somehow, someone has lost (or rather found) a Dogue de Bordeaux in the neighbourhood. Also known as the French Mastiff, theyβre were once used for wolf-baiting and according to Wikipedia, are βclaimed to have the largest head in the canine world in proportion to the rest of the body.β
According to the sign the local vet is taking care of it, and hopefully having more luck than Tom Hanks did in the movie Turner & Hooch the place where many of us know this breed.

Well done Danny and thanks for keeping Mr C safe in prep for his admission.
Hi Linda, thanks for this, and thanks so much for stepping-up and helping out on the ops side, I think it's been so valuable this year ππ
