We are the ESEA Community Centre, a charity dedicated the serving the ESEA community by providing a physical space that serves as a local hub for support with essential services and access to social, wellbeing and community activities.
Formerly Hackney Chinese Community Services, our charity was founded in 1985, with the aim of promoting a sense of community amongst the diverse ESEA popular local to Hackney and its neighbouring boroughs.
We advocate for collective action to address common concerns that affect the ESEA community. We strive to make a positive impact on our community through our programme of activities and services.
Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.
The ESEA Community Centre are hosting a big Lunar New Year Feast to celebrate the Year of the Snake and are expecting a bigger crowd than usual.
They have asked Goodgym if we can help with preparations, tasks might include some clearing, sweeping and dusting ready for the Lunar New Year Feast the following day.
There might be a 2.5km social run to this task from Hackney Downs, please check back closer to the time for details.

Hey guys,
Sorry this session is being cancelled, my contact said the managers who would be in have taken unexpected annual leave so there would be no one on site to let us in past opening hours.
She said we are more than welcome to come enjoy the New Year's festivities on Sunday.
