Supporting the local Sea Scouts with various projects at their new HQ!

Starting at The Tap Tavern at 6.45pm, we will be leading a circa 2km run to Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts. For those who can't join the run, you can meet us there. The address is Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts HQ, Douglas House Meadow, Richmond, TW10 7AH

For those that need it, The Tap Tavern have kindly agreed to let us use their upstairs venue (DKJ's) as a secure locked area for bag drops every Monday evening.

Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts are one of the oldest scout troops still in existence. They can trace their roots back to 1908 and have been in continuous operation since then. Many past Sea Scouts have gone onto careers on the water and into competitive canoeing and kayaking. They are a mixed troop of boys and girls and aim to be inclusive and accessible to all children wanting to be a sea scout.

We've helped the local Sea Scouts with a lot of work over the past few years to get their grounds to where they want them. It's not far off now and today's task will likely involve a lot of groundwork. Think leaves, woodchip etc.

Any support will be greatly appreciated by all involved!

First timers are more than welcome and this is a great task to see what we are all about!

Please bring your own gloves if you can. Tools will be provided.

We will be leading the run back to The Tap Tavern after the mission.
