Reduce and Recycle Hub at Acton MarketAbout
Remember the people behind Ealing Repair Cafe and their fantastic upcycling workshops? Well, one of them Mary is one of the organisers of Reduce and Recycle Hub for Acton Market, a monthly event is to help local Acton and Ealing residents Reduce and Recycle.
The hub is a part of climate action and aims to encourage residents to think about what they consume, start using and wearing items for longer, reduce how much they waste, reuse items more, and recycle them responsibly at the hub or elsewhere.
At the hub you can:
- recycle clothing, shoes, small electrical appliances
- ask for an advice about recycling other items
- repair clothes with Ealing Repair Café
- get your bike checked
- sharpen you garden and kitchen tools
- swap books
- buy preloved clothes
✔️ What is the task?

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

You will be able to join a group walking to the task if you'd prefer not to run.
Options are available to run between 3km and 6km in total
Remember that we run/walk to and from the task, so you'll only be running/walking for half this distance in one go.
This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
