Location

Who this task will support
City of Portsmouth AC

Get ready to put on your warm clothes and hi viz and get your cheering lungs turned up.

We are helping to marshal the Victory 5 mile road race.

Exact timings and jobs will be posted here once confirmed but may include:

  • registration (inside, handing out numbers and chips - not the potato ones)
  • marshal duties (outside, pointing runners in the correct direction)

Now in its 78th year, the Victory 5 is one of the top 5 mile races in the race calendar and offers a flat, fast and virtually traffic-free course. The race records of 22.43 (male) & 25.35 (female) are amongst the leading all-time performances. Can you imagine being able to run that fast?! No doubt, we will see some great performances from local athletes this year too.

How are you getting there?
