18:30 - 20:30The British Heart Foundation have a mighty task ahead of them - Christmas! They have asked us to bring out their Christmas stock and set up a festive display. It's peak planning time for retail and there are many tasks to prepare for Father Christmas and all the Christmas shopping that comes before the big day.
The store will need to be decorated and the main windows will need to change to a Christmas theme so it will be all hands on festive deck to assist. You might even get a few ideas for your own Christmas list!
The stock is kept on the 1st floor and will need to be wheeled into the lift and moved into place. Some of the equipment might be heavy so remember to bend your knees when lifting to look after your back. This task is perfect for a large group of us and is a perfect starter to get to know GoodGym if you haven't been before. Don't forget to bring your head torch as it will be dark.
We will be meeting at the Quaker Centre for 6.30pm and will run 2.5km to the British Heart Foundation shop on Eden Street. We will get there for approximately 7pm if you need to meet us there. We will be doing a 2.5km run back after the task ends. We also have a walking group so please join in if you have an injury or don't want to run this evening.

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
