Sheffield Urban Cyclo Park Hill Uprise Urban Hill Climb Cycle
Calling all Sheffield cyclists, commuters, club riders, junior Shredders and Bromptoneers, come and take part in the Park Hill UpRise Urban Hill Climb and show the rest of the city how to embrace the city’s urban hill climbs and show some grit. 3 chances to claim victory over 2 runs of the Cobbled climbs in the shadow of the iconic Park Hill Flats. The race is also part of The Festival of The Outdoors, a month-long festival of events and activities that showcase why Sheffield is The Outdoor City. Sheffield Urban Cyclo specialise in running cycling events in the urban environment is returning to Park Hill to run the Park Hill UpRise, Urban Hill Climb with races for all generations and abilities to take part in. The Park Hill UpRise is an event for both experienced riders and anyone who wants to have a go, so includes junior, adult and Brompton Bike categories. All money from Entry fees will be split between 2 local charities, Roundabout, Young peoples charity and Woodhead MRT

We will again be meeting Adam Simonite, the gaffer of Sheffield Urban Cyclocross in the build up to this now anual and increasingly popular cycle hill climb that raises money for local charity's. For this year the charity's are:

We will be helping to clear the infamous cobbles from the tram tracks next to the trainline all the way up to South Street.

Please bring gloves and a headtorch.
