All Aboard Club CIC are looking for help setting up big train track for neurodiverse children to play with in a safe, welcoming environment. You can read more about the great work they do on their website. GoodGym have already been involved with All Aboard Club across various London boroughs and they are now trialling out an awesome new location, the London Transport Museum Depot in Acton!
✔️ What are we doing?
This is as fun a challenge for those constructing the track as for those who'll play with it. It'll take you right back to your childhood, on a much bigger scale with all of the track pieces that you once dreamed of having! We'll be working with All Aboard Club's own volunteers, so they'll guide us on what makes an engaging experience for the attendees.
We'll be:
- 🚅 Building the train track before the children arrive
- 🦺 Be able to help children and parents after the task, if you'd like to hang around
⚠️ Anything to be aware of?
This task does require GoodGymers to be able to kneel or sit at floor level and to bring a feeling of calm to the task, even though it is an exciting thing to do!
How are you getting there?

Sorry for the late notice. All Aboard Club have told me - quite late - that they already have a lot of their own volunteers for this session, so they won't need our help.
